Migraine Stigma and Suicide
Recently, yet another person took his life due to Migraine disease. He spent three years telling his doctor that he couldn't take his Migraine pain any longer, but his doctor didn't hear him. His shared his suffering with his mother, who then shared her nightmare with us.
What is going on with doctors and patients alike that this continues to happen? Where is the "disconnect?" Why do we still have stigma that surrouds Migraine disease? But more importantly, how do we stop it.
