Three Truths And One Lie in My Migraine Life #NHBPM Day 8
So today is Day 8 of the WEGO #NHBPM challenge and I have to say I'm not sure I'm going to make it. The topic for Day 8 is to write about three truths and one lie about our life. Here is a free truth- I'm feeling terribly stressed about writing every day. And here's why - my life feels a bit overwhelming right now. But I’ve been feeling a lot like that lately. I will continue to participate as long as I can, but when it gets to be too much, I am bowing about gracefully instead of pushing myself to the end. Now that’s some good self-care!
Here are some things about me that you can decide if they are truthful or not.
- I am fortunate and honored to be able to help people learn about Migraine disease and headache disorders. I relish this opportunity every day, and would say I’m passionate about it.
- People with psychological issues fascinate me. How did they get that way? Is it genetic or environmental or both? Are we doing our best to help them? Is it their fault? What role do they play in their disease?
- I am very punctual and always on time. It is selfish to be late. When someone is counting on you at a specific time, it is beyond rude to keep people waiting.
- I have finally and completely come to terms with being a disabled woman. Accepting being chronically ill and disabled has allowed me to do things I never dreamed of doing. It has opened doors to people and places to me that have brought a new level of compassion into my live.
So which one is which?
