Welcome to the February 2013 Migraine and Headache Blog Carnival
This month's theme is 'Migraine Pet Peeves.' I didn't write a blog, but have lots them and wanted to share the carnival with you.
One of my pet peeves is when people assume because you look "OK" must mean you feel "OK." We all know that most of the time nothing could be farther from the truth.
How about those well-meaning folks who ask if you heard about the latest and greatest migraine treatment? What about the new "cure" they heard about TV? Of course we've heard about it, thank you very much and we would be "cured" by now if these "new" treatments really worked. Take a minute to read these bloggers pet peeves are at Somebodyhealme.com
Diana reports that next month's the theme is "Migraine Coping Toolkit:Tell us about your favorite tool(s) for coping with the challenges of living with migraine or another headache disorder." Jen at Pain Camp will be hosting the carnival and submissions are due by midnight on Friday March 8, 2013. If you have any questions or need help, contact Diana at somebodyhealme@gmail.com

Thanks for reading and feel well,
I had to laugh, Nancy, at the well-meaning people who constantly tell us the NEW way to conquer migraines, the NEW cure, etc. It does drive me crazy, particulary when I am sick and talk/listening are difficult. This is why I hide for days and days when I don't feel well. No energy for the onslaught, and don't want to be rude, impatient, or seem unappreciative. Thanks for providing your blog address--stay well! Clemmie
